Our client is an established signage company providing signage solutions for corporate clients. As part of its expansion, the company is seeking a Business Development Executive to explore new markets, grow its client portfolio and build lasting business relationships.
Role Overview
You will identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with prospective clients across different industries. This role combines proactive outreach, follow-up on company-provided referrals and management of the sales process through to closing. Design and administrative teams will provide post-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
Research potential clients, industry segments and business opportunities to expand the company’s customer base.
Generate leads through direct outreach, networking and referrals.
Follow up on company-provided leads and engage prospective clients to understand their signage requirements.
Arrange client meetings and present suitable signage solutions with support from internal teams.
Prepare tailored quotations and business proposals.
Negotiate commercial terms and secure new business.
Build relationships with clients and potential business partners to encourage repeat projects and referrals.
Maintain an organised pipeline of prospects and track outreach activities, proposals and sales progress.
Coordinate with the design and administrative teams to ensure a smooth handover of confirmed projects.
Share market insights and customer feedback to support business development strategies.
Requirements
Experience in business development, sales or client acquisition is preferred.
Experience in signage, printing, advertising, interior fit-outs or related industries would be an advantage.
Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Proactive and confident in reaching out to prospective clients.
Ability to research business opportunities and tailor proposals to customer needs.
Organised and able to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups independently.
Comfortable working towards business development targets and collaborating with internal teams.
