About the Team

The Travel Activities team builds the part of the trip people actually remember — and getting there is part of the experience. Within it, the Cars commercial team owns one of the most operationally demanding categories we run: car rentals and ground transport across Southeast Asia, where supply is fragmented across thousands of local and regional operators, pricing moves by the hour, and reliability is everything.

This is a commercial seat with real ownership. You shape supply strategy, negotiate the partnerships that unlock inventory, and work the market levers that turn a fragmented category into a product travelers trust. You will move between the deal table and the dashboard, using AI to scale what used to take headcount. Bring commercial creativity and operational rigour in equal measure — and help write the playbook for mobility in the region.

About the Job

As a Senior Manager / Senior Lead for Market Management in Traveloka's Travel Activities Commercial business, you lead multiple teams and the most complex parts of the function across Southeast Asia. You own a large, multi-market commercial area and the leaders who run it, and you influence the direction of the function beyond your own patch.

• Own the commercial strategy and P&L for a large, multi-market area of the business, and deliver step-change growth and margin
• Lead and develop a team of managers and senior individual contributors, building organisational capability and a strong bench
• Set the supply, pricing, and partnership strategy across markets and personally sponsor the most strategic deals
• Drive operational excellence — the metrics, tooling, and rituals that keep a large team performing consistently
• Shape category and regional roadmaps with product and operations leadership, influencing decisions well beyond your area
• Allocate budget, headcount, and focus across competing markets and bets, and hold the line on the highest-value work
• Lead the team's adoption of AI to scale supply growth, pricing, and market intelligence

Job Requirements

• You have at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• You have led multiple teams or a large commercial area and delivered sustained, sizeable business results
• You develop leaders, not just contributors — you allocate and review work, coach managers, and build a capable bench beneath you
• You set multi-market commercial strategy and translate it into execution that holds up over quarters
• You bring authority in major partnership negotiations and complex marketplace commercials
• You drive operational excellence at scale through the right metrics, tooling, and operating cadence
• You influence decisions beyond your own area and are trusted by senior cross-functional partners
• You lead transformation in how teams work, including embedding AI and data tooling for leverage
• You hold a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent senior leadership record; advanced commercial expertise is expected
• You are fluent in English and operate effectively across the region's languages and markets
• You have scaled a multi-market commercial business or category in travel, mobility, or a leading marketplace
• You have a deep regional network across car rental, mobility, or ground-transport supply at executive level
• You have built a commercial capability — pricing, supply science, or partnerships — that became an organisational asset
