We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented
Senior Interior Designer
to join our growing team. If you enjoy transforming ideas into practical, buildable designs and thrive in a collaborative project environment, we'd love to hear from you.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing technical drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring smooth project delivery from design development through construction handover.
Key Responsibilities
Design Development
Develop creative design concepts based on client requirements and site conditions.
Prepare mood boards, space planning layouts, material boards and presentation materials.
Refine and enhance designs based on client and internal feedback.
Present design solutions professionally to clients.
Technical Drawings & Documentation
Produce detailed and accurate construction drawings.
Prepare complete drawing packages including plans, elevations, sections and detailed joinery drawings.
Develop lighting layouts, material schedules and technical documentation.
Coordinate closely with Quantity Surveyors to ensure design intent aligns with project costing and measurements.
Project Coordination
Conduct proper handovers to Project Managers and site teams.
Highlight design risks, construction challenges and critical details.
Participate in internal project coordination meetings.
Provide design clarifications during project execution when required.
Client & Vendor Management
Attend client meetings and manage design revisions professionally.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on materials, specifications and shop drawings.
Review material selections and ensure compliance with design requirements.
Internal Design Operations
Maintain proper version control and documentation standards.
Organise project files and update design libraries.
Contribute ideas for process improvements and workflow efficiency.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or related field
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop
Strong technical detailing and project coordination skills
Good communication and presentation abilities
Experience in commercial interior fit-out projects is an advantage
