About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to develop and maintain data pipelines, processing systems, and data platforms that support business and analytics needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Design and manage data workflows and data integration solutions.
- Extract, transform, and process data from various sources.
- Develop and optimise SQL queries and data processing jobs.
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability.
- Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business teams.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of Data Engineering experience.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
- Knowledge of tools such as Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or data warehouses is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
