WE’RE HIRING: IT & Growth Operations Intern

Location: AMX Money Exchange HQ, ACE Tower, KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur (Adjacent to LRT/KTM Abdullah Hukum)

Employment Type: Internship (Full-Time)

Duration: Minimum 4 months (6 months preferred)

About the Role

Are you looking for an internship where you get to build real technical skills and actively shape digital growth strategies? At AMX Money Exchange, we don't believe in siloing talent. We are looking for an energetic IT & Growth Operations Intern who wants hands-on exposure to core technology operations while wearing multiple creative and strategic hats.

In this role, you won't just observe—you will directly impact our digital systems, testing workflows, marketing initiatives, and content output.


What You’ll Be Doing1. Tech & IT Operations (Core)
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation for financial platforms and internal systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and local digital workflow issues.
  • Assist in maintaining system documentation and operational error logging.
  • Explore system optimization opportunities to streamline daily business processes.
2. Marketing, Content & Creative Projects
  • Design engage-worthy visual graphics and media assets for corporate announcements and growth campaigns.
  • Assist in managing and configuring digital marketing initiatives (such as Google Ads and social media channels).
  • Brainstorm, edit, and produce creative content for brand awareness.
3. Cross-Functional Operations ("A Bit of Everything")
  • Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to solve operational bottlenecks.
  • Participate in administrative workflows and specialized internal projects as needed.


Who We Are Looking For
  • Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, FinTech, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Problem-Solver Mindset: Curious, proactive, and eager to learn beyond standard course material.
  • Adaptable & Versatile: Comfortable shifting between analytical IT tasks and creative design work.
  • Tools & Skills (Plus Points):
  • Familiarity with basic testing, web tools, or software development concepts.
  • Basic proficiency with design software (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or video editing tools).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability: Able to commit for a minimum of 4 months.
