About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Control Officer to join our team at Berjaya Mega Motors (BMM).

This role will focus primarily on identifying and following up on unclaimed sales and outstanding sales opportunities, ensuring potential customers are properly attended to and opportunities are not missed.

You will work closely with Sales, Admin, Customer Service, Accounts and our branches to track opportunities, follow up on cases and support better sales conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and identify unclaimed sales, unattended sales records and potential sales opportunities.
• Proactively follow up on unclaimed sales opportunities and potential customers.
• Coordinate with Sales, Admin, Customer Service, Accounts and branch teams on follow-up actions.
• Track contacted customers, converted sales, pending cases and unsuccessful follow-ups.
• Identify and record reasons for non-conversion or lost sales.
• Prepare regular unclaimed sales and conversion reports for Management.
• Analyse recurring lost sales and highlight potential process gaps or areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in credit control, accounts receivable, sales administration, customer follow-up, debt collection or accounts is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Proactive and comfortable following up with customers and internal teams.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
• Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
