We're Hiring: Field Service Representative – Turbo Machinery

Location: Remote

Company: Industrial Plant & Service Malaysia Berhad

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to lead field service operations on pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, fans, mixers, and other rotating machinery across oil & gas, petrochemical, power, food, pharmaceutical, and mining industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, repair, rebuild, and commission rotating equipment.

Lead and train onsite teams, ensuring HS&E compliance.

Provide technical support, detailed service reports, and client guidance.

Assist in workshop operations and support sales activities.

Develop scopes of work and quality documentation in coordination with Operations.

During periods without field assignments, support the team remotely with job costing and pricing activities.

Requirements:

Engineering degree or equivalent, 10+ years’ experience in rotating equipment service.

Expertise in bearings, lubrication, sealing, alignment, balancing, cooling systems, condition monitoring, and OEM/third-party rotating equipment.

Strong leadership, independent working capability, and client-focused professionalism.

Supporting IPS Australia, IPS Indonesia and IPS Malaysia as required and other location by mutual agreement.

Technical (service area): Represented rotating equipment and other third-party products of other manufacturers.

Proficient in technical documentation and computer skills.
