RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize modeling & simulation software to create and evaluate designs as per project, including Auto Desk Inventor for finite element analysis, Staad Pro for structure analysis and PV Elite for Pressure Vessel analysis.
• Performs engineering calculation to which the product is to be contructed with compliance to Code and Client's specifications.
• Look for improvements regarding all aspects of Mechanical Design Engineering.
• Discuss and solve in design problems with project department, production department, QA/QC department, third party and customers.
• To review the drawings that have been prepared and produced by draughtsman/draughtswoman in accordance with applicable standards.
• Work closely with Production Department to integrate new improvements into designs and with the QA/QC Department to ensure that required quality standards are adhered to.
• To prepare and document all engineering documents in proper method.Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manual, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements of design or applications.
• Responsible for issuing of all outgoing transmittal and receipt of all incoming transmittals.
• To comply and implement company policy as per QMS in every task/job.
• To observe and implement QMS ISO 9001:2015.
• Any other instruction by verbal or written from immediate superior/Top Management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 2 years experience in Oil & Gas industry especially in ACHE, STHE & PVElite.
• Mechanical Analysis (PVElite), Structural Analysis, AutoCAD, ASME Code Knowledge.
• Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with other departments.
• Detail-oriented, technically competent, and capable of producing accurate engineering drawings and supporting manufacturing activities.
• Punctual, discipline, good team member, fast learner, good leadership & soft skills
