Key Responsibilities

Job Summary

• Support the Product Manager in managing assigned toy brands, products, and SKUs.
• Take ownership of day-to-day product activities, including product coordination, supplier management, product launches, and sales support.
• Independently manage assigned suppliers, with guidance from the Product Manager.
• Stay informed about current toy trends, viral products, and market opportunities.

Product Management

• Support the Product Manager in product assortment planning and new product evaluation.
• Research and identify new toy products, trends, and potential opportunities.
• Monitor current toy trends, viral toys, competitor products, and consumer preferences.
• Maintain accurate SKU, pricing, product specifications, and product information.
• Support new product launches and product lifecycle management.
• Monitor product sales and inventory performance and highlight key issues to the Product Manager.

Supplier Management

• Independently manage assigned suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding products, quotations, samples, pricing, artwork, orders, production, and delivery.
• Identify new products and opportunities from assigned suppliers.
• Handle routine supplier negotiations within guidelines set by the Product Manager.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve routine issues.
• Escalate major commercial, quality, or operational issues to the Product Manager.

Sales & Marketing Support

• Provide the Sales Team with product information, images, price lists, and selling points.
• Support product launches, promotions, and customer presentations.
• Coordinate product samples and sales materials.
• Provide product and market feedback to the Product Manager.

Product Coordination

• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and suppliers on product-related matters.
• Coordinate packaging artwork and product information with suppliers.
• Ensure product information, documentation, and system records are accurate and up to date.
• Follow up on product orders, samples, artwork, production, and delivery schedules.

Key Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in toys, FMCG, consumer products, retail, merchandising, or distribution is an advantage.
• Strong awareness of current toy trends, viral toys, emerging products, and consumer preferences.
• Familiarity with BTL marketing activities.
• Good communication and supplier management skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Detail-oriented and well-organised.
• Able to manage multiple products and suppliers simultaneously.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Good commercial awareness and interest in the toy industry.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
