Key Job Responsibilities
Installation, Configuration & Integration: Mount, wire, or replace smart water meter sensor and associated telemetry or communication modules at residential and commercial properties.
Troubleshooting & Testing: Perform first-level checks to identify meter defects, signal dropouts, communication errors, or installation irregularities.
Data & Reporting: Record meter readings, document site conditions, and log maintenance or replacement activities using mobile devices or work order systems.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to utility standards, safety guidelines, and water network regulations.
Assist Engineering Departments in all technical related matters.
Assist with the meters and sensors inventory matters
Typical Requirements & Qualifications
Education: NTC, NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related trade.
Experience: Hands-on background in field-based equipment maintenance, utility metering, or plumbing/mechanical servicing.
Skills: Basic troubleshooting, use of portable diagnostic/testing tools, and comfort with digital handheld work-order apps.
