Role Description As an Artificial Intelligence Intern at WorkAce AI, you will support the design, development, and testing of AI-driven features within the platform. You will assist in building and evaluating machine learning models, analyzing datasets, and helping improve algorithms that power HR and learning functionalities. Daily tasks may include data preprocessing, writing and reviewing code, conducting experiments, documenting findings, and collaborating with engineers and product team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This is an internship role based on-site in Petaling Jaya, where you will gain hands-on experience with real-world workforce management and learning systems.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software development fundamentals.
• Analytical skills and Data Science capabilities to clean, explore, and interpret data for model building and insights.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts, model evaluation techniques, and familiarity with common ML frameworks or libraries.
• Programming skills in languages commonly used for AI and data work (such as Python, R, or similar), and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, communicate technical ideas clearly, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in HR technology, workforce management, and applying AI to solve practical business problems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, version control (e.g., Git), and basic software engineering practices is an advantage.
