The Role

We are looking for a passionate Culinary Trainer who brings real kitchen experience into the classroom. You will train and mentor students in practical culinary skills, preparing them for Malaysian Skills Certification and successful careers in the hospitality and food industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory culinary training in line with the National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS)
• Conduct hands-on kitchen sessions covering food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety and kitchen operations
• Assess students' competencies and maintain training and assessment records
• Ensure kitchen hygiene, safety and food handling standards are consistently met
• Mentor students and prepare them for industrial attachment and employment
• Support curriculum improvement, culinary events and industry collaborations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a culinary training environment
• Strong practical knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
• TVET certification - minimum level 3
• Food Handler certification is an advantage
• Good communication skills .
• Passionate about teaching and developing young talent
