Job Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL).
• Manage daily accounting transactions and ensure all entries are recorded accurately and on time.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, payment tracking, collections and follow-up on outstanding payments.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP), including checking supplier invoices, payment preparation and maintaining proper payment records.
• Perform bank reconciliation and reconcile account balances regularly.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing and ensure accounts are completed within the required timeline.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Monitor company expenses, cash flow, receivables and payables.
• Support reconciliation of sales transactions and coordinate on any discrepancies where required.
• Coordinate on inventory/stock-related accounting matters where applicable.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other accounting records.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and other external parties when required.
• Assist with audit, tax, SST and other statutory matters where applicable.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth finance and accounting operations.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Preferably 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Must have hands-on experience in full set accounts.
• Good practical knowledge of AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliation and month-end closing.
• Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in retail, F&B, FMCG, trading or similar business environments would be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and manage accounting tasks with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working with numbers.
• Good time management and able to meet reporting deadlines.
• Responsible, reliable and willing to take ownership of assigned work.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
