Role Description

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Rawang, responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes and supporting production efficiency. This role involves analyzing existing workflows, designing and implementing process improvements, and coordinating with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role also includes leading continuous improvement initiatives, supporting new product industrialization, training production staff on best practices, and collaborating with suppliers and external partners when necessary.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering to design, optimize, and troubleshoot production operations.
• Background in Industrial Engineering to improve workflow, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Expertise in Mechanical Engineering to support equipment selection, tooling design, and technical problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience with Machining and related techniques to ensure precise and efficient component production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Experience in a senior or lead engineering role within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or motorcycle-related.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools and familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and compliance with relevant regulations.
