Job Summary

Manage full accounting functions and financial reporting to support business decisions and compliance. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and statutory submissions while collaborating with auditors and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and reports for Managing Director’s review to facilitate informed decision-making
• Month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial closure
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, financial forecasting, and expense control to maintain financial health
• Ensure timely submission of GST returns, corporate tax filings, and compliance with statutory requirements to meet regulatory obligations
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and other relevant parties to coordinate financial audits and compliance activities
• Maintain proper documentation, internal controls, and adherence to accounting standards to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, and statutory requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and manage full set of accounts with minimal supervision
