Position: Sales Executive – Food Service & Distribution (B2B)

About Us

AjiDo is a growing Malaysian brand specializing in Japanese sauces, seasonings and food ingredients, serving restaurants, food-service businesses, distributors and retail customers.

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Sales Executive to expand our business across Northern Malaysia and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new B2B customers, including restaurants, cafés, hotels, caterers, central kitchens and food-service operators.
• Promote and sell our range of Japanese sauces, seasonings and food ingredients.
• Grow sales across Penang, Kedah and Ipoh by leveraging our existing delivery network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities to increase repeat orders.
• Identify, approach and manage distributors and wholesalers in other states, including Kuala Lumpur and Johor.
• Support the expansion of AjiDo retails product into supermarkets and modern trade channels.
• Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations and sales follow-ups.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with management and operations to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in food service, HORECA, FMCG, food ingredients or food distribution.
• Experience dealing with restaurant owners, chefs, purchasing departments or food distributors is highly preferred.
• Existing industry contacts will be a strong advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to develop new business independently.
• Willing to travel regularly within Northern Malaysia and occasionally to other states.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
• Experience managing supermarket or modern trade accounts is an added advantage.
