About the Role
We are looking for an organized and responsible General Clerk to support our daily office operations. This role involves clerical duties, record keeping and general administrative support to ensure the office runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls, take messages, direct enquiries and welcome visitors.
- Perform data entry, typing, document preparation, photocopying and scanning.
- Maintain filing systems and records, and assist with basic bookkeeping.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and arrange outgoing correspondence.
- Assist in coordinating office activities, posting work schedules and displaying company notices.
- Monitor office equipment and coordinate with IT vendors when assistance is required.
- Maintain meeting and conference rooms in good condition.
- Monitor and replenish stationery and other office supplies.
- Assist with refreshments for management and general office support duties.
- Follow workplace safety and housekeeping practices.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
- Able to prioritize tasks and complete work promptly.
- Able to work independently and cooperate with colleagues.
- Committed to maintaining accurate records and an orderly workplace.
