Role Description

The Healthcare Intelligence & Editorial Writer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur City. This role is responsible for researching healthcare markets, trends, and policies, and translating complex findings into clear, insightful reports and articles that support the firm’s investment and client communication activities.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting primary and secondary research, drafting and editing healthcare-focused editorial content, preparing briefing notes for internal stakeholders, and contributing to thought leadership pieces for external publication.

The writer will collaborate closely with investment, research, and marketing teams to ensure consistency of messaging and alignment with Clearwater Capital’s healthcare investment perspectives. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining content calendars, preparing presentations, and supporting marketing campaigns with high-quality healthcare intelligence materials.

Qualifications

• Strong editorial and writing skills, with the ability to present complex healthcare and investment topics in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
• Proficiency in research and journalism, including data gathering, source verification, and synthesizing information into actionable insights.
• Understanding of marketing principles, with experience shaping content for different audiences and channels.
• Relevant academic background in Journalism, Communications, Healthcare, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in healthcare research, financial journalism, or investment-related content is highly beneficial.]
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional language skills are an advantage.
