Morgan Philips is partnered with a fast-growing Southeast Asian commerce platform to appoint a Head of E-Commerce (Malaysia). Backed by a well-capitalized regional group and supported by an integrated commerce ecosystem across Southeast Asia, the business has built a strong track record of helping brands accelerate growth through marketplace operations, social commerce, digital marketing, and fulfillment solutions.


With significant 8 to 9-figure investment backing and an ecosystem supporting thousands of merchants and brands across the region, the company has established a strong presence across multiple Southeast Asian markets and continues to invest in leadership talent to support its next phase of growth in Malaysia.


Reporting directly to regional leadership, this individual will play a key role in shaping market strategy, building local capabilities, and accelerating commercial performance across Malaysia's rapidly evolving e-commerce landscape.


What You'll Do

  • Lead the overall growth strategy and commercial performance of the Malaysia business
  • Drive sales growth across TikTok Shop, Shopee, and other digital commerce channels
  • Oversee end-to-end e-commerce operations, including campaigns, storefront performance, and marketplace execution
  • Develop and scale live-commerce, affiliate, and creator partnerships to maximize revenue growth
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to execute expansion initiatives and build local capabilities


What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, social commerce, marketplace operations, or digital retail
  • Proven success driving GMV, revenue growth, and online sales performance across marketplace ecosystems
  • Strong hands-on expertise in TikTok Shop, live-commerce, affiliate marketing, and creator-led growth strategies
  • Commercially driven with the ability to balance strategic planning and execution
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
