Relevant experience as a Sushi Chef, Chef de Partie, or similar kitchen role.

Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin

Experience in Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation is an advantage.

Good knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and food safety.

Able to work efficiently and maintain quality during busy service periods.

Responsible, disciplined, and able to work well as part of a kitchen team.

Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Prepare sushi, ingredients, and other assigned dishes according to established recipes and standards.

Ensure consistency in food quality, portioning, taste, and presentation.

Prepare ingredients and complete mise en place before service.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation and kitchen equipment.

Monitor ingredient freshness and proper food storage.

Assist with stock checking and inventory control.

Minimise food wastage and ensure ingredients are used efficiently.

Coordinate with other kitchen team members during service.

Follow food safety procedures and company SOPs.
