Job Description:

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of construction activities on site. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision and Coordination:

* Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.

* Supervise and direct subcontractors and workers, ensuring efficient workflow and quality workmanship.

* Monitor and control materials, equipment, and resources on site.

* Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Safety and Compliance:

* Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company safety policies.

* Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings.

* Ensure all workers are equipped with and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

* Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Quality Control:

* Ensure all work is performed to the required quality standards and specifications.

* Inspect and approve completed work, identifying and rectifying any defects.

* Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress.

Communication and Reporting:

* Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and workers.

* Provide regular progress reports and updates to the project manager.

* Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, incident reports, and material tracking.

Problem Solving:

* Identify and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.

* Proactively address potential problems and implement preventative measures.

* Coordinate with relevant parties to find solutions and minimize delays.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Secondary school or Diploma or Certificate in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or relevant experience.

* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.

* Familiarity with Singapore building codes and regulations.
