We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Architectural Coordinator cum Civil Engineer to coordinate architectural and civil engineering works, ensuring that all construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards. The candidate will coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings to ensure proper integration and resolve discrepancies.
Review architectural and civil drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and construction details.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and site personnel on technical matters.
Monitor and supervise civil and architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct site inspections and identify discrepancies, defects, and potential construction issues.
Prepare and coordinate technical submissions, material submissions, method statements, and requests for information (RFIs).
Assist in preparing and reviewing construction schedules and monitoring project progress.
Coordinate design changes, variation works, and site instructions with relevant parties.
Ensure that construction works comply with applicable building regulations, safety requirements, and project standards.
Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and progress meetings.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in construction, architectural coordination, or civil engineering works is preferred.
Good knowledge of architectural and structural drawings, construction methods, and building materials.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM software such as Revit is an advantage.
Familiarity with construction documentation, site coordination, and quality control procedures.
Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Willingness to conduct site visits and support project requirements.
