• Conduct detailed cost analysis for products, services, and projects.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts by providing accurate cost data and analysis.
• Support financial planning efforts with detailed cost information and variance analysis.
• Monitor costs throughout the production process to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Identify and report variances and recommend corrective actions to maintain cost efficiency.
• Oversee the valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Ensure accurate costing and inventory management practices are followed.
• Provide cost data and analysis to support pricing strategies.
• Ensure products are competitively and profitably priced based on accurate cost calculations.
• Maintain and update costing systems and databases.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity for effective cost tracking and reporting.
• Work closely with finance, production, procurement, and sales departments to gather cost data.
• Streamline processes and improve overall cost efficiency.
• Ensure all costing activities comply with company policies, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data management, spreadsheets).

2. Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

3. Ability to handle product costing under various shipping terms.

4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations and reporting.

5. Ability to identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions.

6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

7. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.

8. Strong organisational and time management skills.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.

Prior experience in costing, financial analysis, or related roles preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
