Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on and result-oriented IT Infrastructure & Solutions Engineer to support our IT infrastructure, customer projects and IT solution implementation.

The role covers on-premise and virtual servers, cloud, networking, firewall, cybersecurity, solution design and on-site project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Support

Support and maintain on-premise and virtual server environments.

Support cloud infrastructure and related services.

Troubleshoot and maintain networking infrastructure, including switches, routers and connectivity.

Configure, manage and troubleshoot firewalls and security solutions.

Perform system, network and infrastructure troubleshooting.

Support cybersecurity-related activities and infrastructure security.

Project Implementation & Solution Design

Perform on-site installation, configuration and project implementation.

Develop IT infrastructure and solution concepts based on customer requirements.

Prepare solution design, technical documentation, network diagrams and project documentation.

Design appropriate IT solutions covering infrastructure, networking, server, cloud and cybersecurity requirements.

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications for customer proposals and quotations.

Work closely with customers, vendors and internal teams during project implementation.

Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed requirements, timeline and expected results.

Customer & Technical Engagement

Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable IT solutions.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting at customer sites when required.

Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction and delight.

Be proactive, accountable and result-oriented in resolving technical challenges.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related field.

2–3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, networking, system support or project implementation.

Good hands-on knowledge of:

Server & Virtualisation

Cloud Infrastructure

Networking

Firewall Configuration & Management

Cybersecurity

IT Infrastructure Solution Design

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience in IT project implementation and on-site deployment.

Able to prepare BOM, technical specifications and project documentation.

Good communication and customer-facing skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a project team.

Willing to travel to customer sites when required.

Preferred Certifications

The following certifications will be an advantage:

CCNA / CCNP

Cybersecurity-related certifications

Microsoft / Azure / AWS certifications

Fortinet / Palo Alto / Sophos or other firewall certifications

Other relevant IT infrastructure and networking certifications
