We are seeking an experienced Murex Environment Manager to oversee the management, stability and availability of Murex MX.3 environments across development, testing, UAT and production.

The successful candidate will be responsible for environment configuration, deployment coordination, release management, system upgrades and troubleshooting, ensuring Murex environments remain stable, secure and aligned with business and project requirements.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of Murex MX.3 architecture, environment management, Unix/Linux, SQL and deployment processes, alongside experience working with infrastructure, development, QA and production support teams.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Murex MX.3 Environment Management, application administration or Murex technical infrastructure support.
• Strong understanding of Murex architecture, application components, environment configuration and deployment processes.
• Hands-on experience managing development, SIT, UAT, pre-production and production Murex environments.
• Experience with Murex binary installations, patching, version upgrades, configuration migrations and environment refreshes.
• Strong technical skills in Unix/Linux administration, Shell scripting and SQL.
• Experience troubleshooting Murex application servers, connectivity issues, batch processing failures and environment performance problems.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases, application infrastructure and middleware technologies within Murex environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab and Git.
• Experience coordinating release management, deployment planning, testing environments and production change activities.
• Understanding of Murex technical components, including Murex services, batch processes, interfaces and associated configuration dependencies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex technical issues across application, database and infrastructure layers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across development, testing, infrastructure and production support teams.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure, containerisation or Murex SaaS environments would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Murex Environment Management: Manage, maintain and monitor Murex MX.3 environments across development, SIT, UAT, pre-production and production.
• Environment Configuration: Perform environment setup, configuration, cloning, refreshes and maintenance to support development, testing and release activities.
• Deployment & Release Management: Coordinate and execute Murex application deployments, configuration migrations, binary patches and software releases across environments.
• Murex Upgrades: Support MX.3 version upgrades, patch installations and environment migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve environment-related incidents, including application performance, connectivity, batch processing and system availability issues.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Unix/Linux Shell, Python or similar technologies to streamline environment provisioning, deployment and maintenance.
• Database & Infrastructure Coordination: Work with DBA and infrastructure teams to manage database connectivity, application servers, storage, capacity and environment performance.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Support automated deployment pipelines and environment management processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or equivalent technologies.
• Environment Stability & Governance: Maintain environment consistency, access controls, configuration standards and operational procedures across the Murex landscape.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with Murex developers, Front Office, Back Office, QA, infrastructure and production support teams to resolve technical issues and ensure environment readiness.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain environment inventories, deployment procedures, configuration documentation, release schedules and operational runbooks.
