Job Summary:

• The scope of the project includes European Government Bonds Sovereign, Supranational and Agency debt, Credit Primary and Credit Secondary business scope worldwide (all products) booked in Murex.
• We aim to migrate all murex functionalities and processes and replicate them in Orchestrade to fit with business needs.
• Position, PL and risk management will be migrated in a standalone application called RPS bond.
• The scope is to replicate Murex functionalities into OT/RPS, as well as to migrate the stock of data and trades.
• With strong interactions with our Paris Head office team, the .NET developer would join our development team based in Asia, Singapore.
• In addition, the developer would be part of the support team and perform L3 activities during EMEA hours. The team will be fully allocated to this project and will be part of a multi-site project team.
• The position involves working to develop code under modern standards, including cloud-readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Update software, enhance existing software capabilities and develop and direct software testing and validation procedures.
• Support other members of the team in their technical activities. Train new joiners and junior staff. Help IT Delivery team members in solving their technical issues.
• Take in charge of most complex technical subjects. Contribute to code review.
• Responsible for consistent code integration in the Information System. Analyze the impact of one technical design on IS technical architecture. Contribute with Technical Architect in the choices of implementation within the IS.

Requirements:

• Min. 5 years of software development experience
• Min. 3 years’ experience working with C#, and particularly modern, cross-platform .NET.
• A strong understanding of advanced C# language features, such as async/await, dependency injection, etc.
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures, with strong fundamentals in complexity analysis
• Good knowledge of development tools: Jenkins, GIT, SVN, Azure DevOps or equivalent
• Strong ability to analyze code – understand execution flow & debug even without access to a debugger.
• Experience with the dotnet CLI, writing and maintaining integration and unit tests.
• Strong familiarity with both Windows and Linux, including shell scripting.
• Good knowledge of Transact SQL and Entity Framework Core
• Knowledge of a backend stack
• Experience with Agile methodology organization
• Good to have understanding of and interest in finance & financial markets, particularly Fixed income and money market products in their many forms, knowledge of risk management concepts and market data.

Besides having greater development experience and more raw technical skills than the average candidate, as a senior developer you must be initiative-taking and driven. You will frequently be driving changes and balancing trade-offs that your management is not well equipped to understand, and you will need to be able to explain and advocate for these.

This means having a clear understanding of the goals of the project and pushing the team to achieve those goals – not merely passively completing tickets assigned to you, but truly leading and participating in the process.

Candidates, particularly at the senior level, are expected to demonstrate the ability to present ideas clearly, explain complex technical concepts, and engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders is essential.

As the role involves frequent interaction with colleagues, clients, and partners across multiple countries, strong communication skills in the bank's primary business language are required for meetings, presentations, negotiations, and day-to-day collaboration.
