NOW HIRING: SENIOR R&D EXECUTIVE (FOOD INDUSTRY)

Location: Bidor, Perak
Salary: RM3,000 – RM4,500 (Based on Experience)
Hostel Accommodation Provided

About the Company

Our client is a well-established Malaysian food manufacturer with a long history in producing naturally brewed soy sauce, bean paste, sauces and condiments. The company is recognized for its quality products and commitment to food safety, with a strong presence in both local and international markets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to commercialization.
  • Develop new food formulations and improve existing products.
  • Conduct laboratory trials, pilot testing and factory production trials.
  • Evaluate raw materials, product quality, stability and shelf life.
  • Ensure product formulations comply with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with QA/QC, Production, Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Analyze test results and recommend product and process improvements.
  • Prepare technical reports, product specifications and R&D documentation.
  • Support production scale-up and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of R&D experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in sauces, condiments, seasonings or related food products is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of food formulation, ingredients and food processing.
  • Familiar with HACCP, ISO, FSSC 22000, BRC and Halal requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
