The Technical Operations Lead will lead the design, delivery, and reliable operation of business-critical applications and data integrations. The role combines hands-on .NET and AWS technical leadership with architecture, ETL/data engineering knowledge, operational ownership, and mentorship of junior developers. The Technical Operations Lead partners with Engineering, Product, Operations, and client-facing teams to deliver secure, scalable, supportable solutions and dependable service outcomes.
Core Responsibilities:
- Own technical direction and solution architecture for .NET applications, APIs, integrations, operational systems, and data platforms.
- Lead application delivery across design, estimation, development, code review, testing, release, and post-production support.
- Design and optimize AWS-based solutions using cloud-native patterns, appropriate managed services, observability, resilience, and security controls.
- Provide operational leadership for production services, including monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and service improvement.
- Design, support, and improve ETL processes, data pipelines, transformation rules, APIs, and integrations using structured data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, and relational data.
- Work with stakeholders to translate business and operational requirements into pragmatic, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and analysts through coaching, design guidance, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices.
- Drive automation, documentation, technical standards, and continuous improvement across software delivery and operational workflows.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and technology partners to resolve complex technical and data-related issues.
- Monitor daily data operations, identify processing failures, missing or delayed data, and data discrepancies, and coordinate investigation and resolution with relevant internal teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
- Manage and triage tickets raised through the ticketing system by internal stakeholders, prioritizing requests based on urgency and business impact, coordinating investigation and resolution, and ensuring timely responses and resolution in accordance with agreed service-level agreements (SLAs).
