About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Financial Consultant to join GPS 125 AGENCY in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Key responsibilities

1. Identify, approach and engage potential clients seeking mortgage financing and financial solutions

2. Conduct thorough financial needs assessments to understand client circumstances, goals and borrowing requirements

3. Present and recommend suitable mortgage products and financial services tailored to individual client needs

4. Prepare loan applications and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness

5. Guide clients through the mortgage application process, answering queries and addressing concerns professionally

6. Build and maintain a strong client database, fostering long-term relationships for repeat business and referrals

7. Achieve sales targets and revenue goals through effective prospecting and closing techniques

8. Stay informed of current mortgage products, interest rates, policies and financial regulations

9. Collaborate with internal teams including underwriting, processing and management to ensure smooth client transactions

10. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and brand reputation

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in mortgage lending, financial advisory, insurance sales or a similar client-facing sales role in the financial services sector

2. Strong understanding of insurance products, financial planning principles and banking regulations in Malaysia

3. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clientele

4. Self-motivated, target-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets

5. Strong numerical and analytical skills to assess financial situations and present appropriate solutions

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn financial software systems

7. Full driving licence and reliable transportation

8. Customer service excellence with a commitment to professional conduct and ethical standards

9. Qualification in finance, business, economics or a related discipline is advantageous

10. Prior experience in mortgage broking, banking or financial advisory roles preferred
