Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of security officers during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure the safety and security of customers, staff, tenants, and company assets.
  • Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and access control systems.
  • Conduct regular patrols of retail premises, entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
  • Handle security incidents, emergencies, disputes, and suspicious activities professionally.
  • Investigate theft, shoplifting, accidents, or security breaches and prepare incident reports.
  • Assist in crowd control during sales events, promotions, and peak operating hours.
  • Train and guide junior security officers on security procedures and company policies.
  • Ensure all officers comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with store management, mall management, police, and emergency services when required.
  • Perform opening and closing security checks of the retail store.
  • Maintain records of daily occurrences, visitor logs, and security activities.
  • Conduct fire safety inspections and emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Respond quickly to alarms, medical emergencies, and fire incidents.
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
