Job Requirements

• Education & Major: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management, Civil Engineering, M&E Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in construction cost management; preference given to candidates with experience in large-scale industrial plants, high-tech manufacturing facilities, or data center projects.

• Professional Skills:

• Proficiency in quantity take-off and cost estimation software (e.g., Cubicost, Glantha, Glodon, or other industry-standard systems); skilled in using advanced Excel cost functions and performing quantity take-offs from drawings.

• Familiarity with standard contract forms (e.g., PAM, FIDIC, CIDB).

• Strong capability in calculating quantities for M&E piping and ducting, hot/cold aisle containment, raised flooring, and high/low-voltage power distribution systems.

• Soft Skills: Meticulous and sharp; strong commercial negotiation skills and proactive risk awareness; ability to work effectively under pressure.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end construction cost control for data center projects; lead the preparation and review of Bills of Quantities (BQ/BOQ) and manage the tender price comparison process.

• Closely monitor on-site Variation Orders (VOs) for data center MEP systems, civil/structural works, cleanroom fit-outs, and dynamic environment monitoring & lightning protection systems; verify claims and counter-claims.

• Review monthly progress claims submitted by subcontractors and process interim payment certificates.

• Dynamically manage the project cost ledger, track cost variances for long-lead critical electromechanical equipment (chillers, transformers, gensets, UPS), and regularly generate cost cash flow forecast reports.

• Responsible for subcontractor settlements and the project’s final account settlement; assist in completing various audit processes.
