Acestes Pte Ltd operates across security, investigations, training, consultancy and technology solutions. As we prepare for an ambitious period of growth over the next two years, we are looking for a driven and analytical Finance Executive to strengthen our finance function.
This role offers broad exposure to accounting, financial reporting and business operations. We welcome fresh graduates who are eager to learn, take ownership and develop the ability to support management in making sound financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting Operations
Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare customer invoices, supplier invoices, credit notes and payment documentation.
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Assist with monthly closing, GST preparation, payroll-related accounting and year-end reporting.
Maintain proper supporting documents for audits and statutory requirements.
Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and up to date.
2. Accounts Receivable and Payable
Monitor outstanding customer invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
Coordinate with clients and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
Track supplier invoices, payment terms and upcoming payment obligations.
Prepare payment schedules and assist with payment planning.
Maintain updated records of expected receipts and outstanding liabilities.
Highlight collection delays or potential payment issues to management.
3. Financial Reporting and Analysis
Prepare financial reports, management summaries and supporting schedules.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow monitoring.
Analyse revenue, manpower costs, operating expenses and financial performance.
Compare actual results against budgets and investigate significant variances.
Identify potential cash-flow risks, cost increases and financial irregularities.
Support management with financial information and practical recommendations for business decisions.
Assist with improving finance processes, reporting tools and internal controls.

Requirements
Preferably at least a Diploma in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office applications.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Willingness to learn, research unfamiliar matters and take initiative.
Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential financial information responsibly.
Able to work in fast pace environment
Experience with accounting software, GST or financial reporting is an advantage but not essential.
