About the role

This role involves installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting company computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and IT peripherals. You will provide first-level technical support to end users and assist in resolving hardware, software, operating system, network, and application-related issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot company computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and IT peripherals
• Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting to end users for hardware, software, operating system, network, and application-related issues
• Assist end users in troubleshooting technical problems, identifying root causes, and providing appropriate solutions or workarounds
• Log, update, monitor, and close IT incidents and service requests in accordance with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and procedures
• Ensure IT incidents and service requests are properly documented and resolved within the agreed service level
• Assist with IT infrastructure implementation, installation, upgrading, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities
• Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to the superior, field engineer, or relevant vendor when necessary
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and ensure IT equipment and systems are functioning properly
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT asset records, including asset assignment, location, status, serial numbers, and user information
• Maintain proper documentation of system configurations, IT equipment, troubleshooting activities, incidents, and service records

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and networking
• Basic understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts and processes
• Able to follow technical instructions and work effectively with superiors, field engineers, vendors, and end users
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
