Who we are
WholeEarth is a plant-based, vegetarian restaurant in Tanjong Pagar, proud to have held the MICHELIN Bib Gourmand award for 10 consecutive years since the MICHELIN Guide’s Singapore launch in 2016. We are looking for a highly motivated, tech-savvy individual to join our team on this amazing journey.
Summary
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our food service operations, and for building good relationships with our customers and staff by consistently upholding company standards.
What We Are Looking For
Operations
Manage and oversee daily operations to ensure smooth running of operations.
Ensure all safety, hygiene and sanitation guidelines are followed, including food safety and cleaning logs.
Use our POS and reservation systems to monitor sales and orders and keep operations running smoothly.
Manage reservations, group bookings and corporate orders.
Coordinate with delivery platforms (Grab, foodpanda, Oddle) on orders, menu updates and issues.
Monitor sales, labour cost and wastage, and support stock-taking, ordering and daily cash-up.
Liaise with suppliers and report equipment, maintenance and pest control issues.
Maintain a close, professional working relationship with the kitchen team at all times.
Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily and monthly reports.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise, lead and motivate the service team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
Lead, train, coach and motivate a team.
Conduct pre-shift briefings and support rostering.
Train and onboard new team members so they can perform their roles confidently and efficiently.
Give regular feedback and support team development.
Customer Service
Receive, review and act on customer feedback, including online reviews, and resolve complaints promptly and graciously.
Ensure consistently high service quality, including during peak periods and special occasions.
Know our brand and menu well, including our plant-based, allium-free dishes, to add value to every guest’s experience.
Perform all other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
