Job Summary

As a Motorcycle Delivery Rider, you will efficiently transport goods and documents using a motorcycle. You will pick up items from designated locations, ensure safe and timely delivery, maintain accurate records, and comply with traffic and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Pick up items, packages, or documents promptly from designated locations to meet delivery schedules
• Safely operate a motorcycle to transport goods to specified destinations without damage or loss
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to reduce delivery time and increase productivity
• Verify delivery instructions and addresses for accuracy before departure to ensure correct delivery
• Communicate delivery status updates regularly with dispatchers or supervisors for coordination
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while riding the motorcycle
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the motorcycle to maintain safe and reliable operation
• Accurately complete delivery-related paperwork, including receipts and confirmations
• Provide courteous and timely customer service during deliveries to enhance customer satisfaction

Required competencies and certifications

• Valid motorcycle driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in delivery or courier services
• Strong knowledge of local roads, streets, and neighborhoods
• Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps to identify optimal routes
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Physical fitness and stamina to meet the demands of motorcycle delivery
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery and documentation
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
