CR3 (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a motivated and commercially minded Commercial & Contract Engineer to join our team.

CR3 provides energy engineering solutions to customers in energy production, chemical processing, power and other asset-intensive industries, including industrial maintenance, plant revamps, upgrades and shutdown services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates covering materials, labour, equipment, subcontractors and construction facilities.
• Handle enquiries related to pre-qualification exercises, tenders and commercial proposals.
• Attend pre-bid/proposal briefings and site visits in coordination with the Projects Unit.
• Review work scopes, specifications and tender requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost summaries and project estimating inputs.
• Prepare quotations and tender documentation.
• Prepare, review and manage commercial contracts and agreements.
• Support technical and commercial discussions with customers.
• Assist in identifying and assessing commercial risks and opportunities.
• Maintain proper commercial, contractual and client documentation.
• Support commercial reporting and submissions for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• Relevant experience in contract, commercial, tendering, estimating or project-related functions.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, plant maintenance, turnaround or shutdown projects would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of costing, tender preparation, quantity take-off and commercial evaluation.
• Good analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
