Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to operate and monitor CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for machining components according to technical drawings, ensuring product quality, and maintaining machine efficiency and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce components according to production requirements and specifications.
• Set up machines, load materials, and select appropriate tools for machining operations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Monitor machining processes and inspect finished products to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor machine or machining issues.
• Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check component dimensions.
• Conduct routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
• Follow production schedules, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain proper records of production output, machine operations, and inspection results.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve machining and product quality issues.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM, SKM, or relevant technical qualification in Machining, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience operating CNC machines is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant technical training are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and machine operations.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiar with measuring instruments and basic quality inspection procedures.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts or overtime when required.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary of up to RM2,800 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (Preferred)
