Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Location: Gelang Patah, Johor

Job Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support and troubleshooting for end-user issues involving computers, laptops, printers, Microsoft applications, email, and other in-house systems.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, notebooks, operating systems, and IT peripherals.
• Provide technical support for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 (O365), Outlook, internet browsers, and standard business applications.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, VPN, and wireless connections.
• Perform user account administration, password resets, and basic Active Directory user access management.
• Log, track, and document service requests, incidents, and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
• Assist users with IT equipment setup, printer configuration, email setup, and general desktop support requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and basic training to users on IT equipment, software applications, and IT procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and relevant teams to resolve technical issues when necessary.
• Maintain proper documentation of IT assets, service requests, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support IT setup and provide on-site technical assistance at company offices and project sites across Peninsular Malaysia.
• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT support, desktop support, or end-user technical support.
• Experience in an MNC environment or corporate IT support setting will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting PC and laptop hardware, printers, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, VPN configuration, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and basic TCP/IP networking.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate initiative in learning new technologies.
• Willingness to travel to company offices and project sites across Peninsular Malaysia when required.
