We are looking for a proactive, results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to actively prospect, meet, and convert potential clients within designated geographic territories. As the direct face of our company in the field, you will focus on face-to-face engagements, client visits, and local networking to present our general insurance products and close new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field prospecting, cold visits, and scheduled face-to-face meetings with business owners, property managers, and individual clients.

• Analyze prospective clients' existing policy coverages and identify gaps to propose superior general insurance solutions.

• Conduct risk assessments on-site to gather necessary client details for accurate underwriting evaluations.

• Close new policy sales and ensure a seamless handover to the customer service/account management team.

• Represent the company at trade shows, local business chambers, and industry networking events to build brand visibility.

• Provide accurate sales forecasting, call logs, and customer feedback through the company CRM system.

• Maintain ongoing rapport with policyholders in your territory to promote renewals and referral business.

Key Qualifications

• Local diploma or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience.

• 1–3 years of direct, door-to-door, business sales, or field sales experience (experience in non-life insurance or financial products is a strong plus).

• Exceptional self-motivation, time management, and territory planning abilities.

• Outstanding communication and persuasive negotiation skills in face-to-face settings
