Job Summary
The Staff Nurse provides comprehensive nursing services to patients in the Inpatient Ward/Suite, ensuring that care is delivered safely, professionally, and in accordance with approved nursing policies, clinical procedures, and applicable healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform nursing assessments to identify patients' care needs and contribute to the development of appropriate nursing care plans.
Implement, monitor, and evaluate nursing interventions to promote patient safety, comfort, recovery, and overall well-being.
Ensure nursing procedures are carried out in accordance with established clinical protocols, infection prevention measures, and patient safety practices.
Monitor and document patients' clinical conditions, treatment responses, and nursing care provided, escalating concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals when necessary.
Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and timely nursing records in accordance with organisational policies and documentation requirements.
Support the Nurse Manager and relevant clinicians in departmental operations, service improvement initiatives, and other ad hoc responsibilities within the scope of nursing practice.
