Job Description: Merchant Onboarding SpecialistJob Summary

The Merchant Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for managing the onboarding of new merchants through the company’s backend systems, ensuring accurate account and pricing configurations, and delivering a seamless onboarding experience. The role involves close collaboration with commercial teams, product and engineering teams, and channel partners to facilitate efficient onboarding processes and continuously improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the onboarding of new merchants through the company’s backend system, ensuring timely and accurate account setup.
• Configure merchant accounts, including feature enablement, account settings, and capability adjustments based on business requirements.
• Manage pricing configurations, including the setup of customized pricing arrangements.
• Provide timely and effective support to the commercial team in addressing merchant onboarding requests and operational matters.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and channel partners to facilitate smooth merchant onboarding and resolve operational issues.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to communicate merchant feedback and contribute to improvements in product functionality and user experience.
• Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enhance service delivery.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the payments industry, fintech, or an internet-based company.
• Ability to quickly understand new products, systems, and business processes, with strong adaptability and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple requests and priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying process improvements.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Pay: From RM4,200.00 per month
