About the Roles

Join our client as a Sales Engineer with an Electrical & Instrumentation Solutions Provider, based in Joo Seng with convenient access within walking distance from the MRT. This is a permanent role offering a 5-day work week (Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm), with a competitive package comprising basic salary, allowances, and performance bonus. You will play a key role in driving technical sales solutions, supporting customers, and developing business opportunities within the industrial automation sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential customers across Singapore.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve or exceed business targets.
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to customer requirements.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial engagement through successful contract completion.
• Monitor market developments to uncover new applications, trends, and growth opportunities.
• Understand customer challenges and recommend suitable technical solutions based on their operational needs.
• Design and configure appropriate control system solutions, including PLC setups, HMI interfaces, and network layouts.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance through product demonstrations, proof-of-concept trials, and feasibility evaluations.
• Work closely with internal engineering teams and suppliers to develop effective solutions for complex projects.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with engineers, project stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
• Follow up with customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and provide post-sales support.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers by resolving concerns and coordinating timely solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to align business strategies and exchange market feedback.
• Share industry updates, customer insights, competitor activities, and product feedback with management.

What We’re Looking For

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Have at least 2–3 years of experience in a technical position such as Sales Engineer or Application Engineer, preferably within industrial automation, control systems, or component distribution.
• Demonstrate knowledge of automation components including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, and motion control technologies.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CRM platforms will be considered an added advantage.
