Develop software and documented processes to test memory and logic devices using ATE, testers, probers, and engineering lab equipment
Provide test programs, limits, and conditions to front-end and back-end SCPs to define parametric expectations and ensure test correlation of critical device parameters
Ensure released test programs meet parametric test margin, guard bands, manufacturing release requirements, and yield expectations
Analyze test data, summarize findings, and present conclusions and recommendations to stakeholders
Review yield statistics of new products and packages, coordinating test solutions with Quality, Engineering, and Materials/Operations teams to resolve yield or assembly issues related to testing
Act as a key stakeholder connecting process, device, and circuit abstractions to support technology transfer and production readiness
Required competencies and certifications
Good understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), design of experiments, and industry-standard data analysis software such as JMP and SQL
Minimum 3 years of experience in Etest (functional) or Product Engineering on advanced memory (DRAM), embedded memory, and/or logic in a technology development environment
Working knowledge of basic lab equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters/SMUs, and pulse generators
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Microelectronic Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Solid State Physics, or related fields
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience with Advantest 93K or equivalent memory testers
Proficiency in C/C++ programming and Python for data manipulation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Kepler Computing is a semiconductor company building the next generation of memory and logic chips for AI.
As AI models grow, memory has become one of the biggest limits on how fast and how efficiently they can run. Kepler is developing a new class of AI memory with bandwidth per watt close to SRAM and more capacity than both SRAM and HBM. It is designed for high-throughput, real-time AI inference. Beyond memory, we are working on advanced logic chips that don’t depend on EUV lithography, with a long-term roadmap toward 3D and beyond-silicon devices.
We operate our own dedicated 300mm fab and are moving toward production in 2027. We are backed by $468M from leading investors, including Temasek, Gates Frontier, Baillie Gifford, Intel Capital, GlobalFoundries and AMD Ventures.
Our team includes engineers and scientists from Intel, Synopsys and other industry leaders. They have delivered seven generations of DRAM, 232-layer NAND and technologies shipped in billions of chips. At Kepler, you’ll work alongside them on hard, high-impact problems across device physics, process integration, circuit design, advanced packaging and AI system architecture.
