Introduction
We’re looking for an experienced Image Retoucher with a strong eye for detail, colour and composition. You’ll bring product and model imagery to a polished, consistent finish across e-commerce, campaigns and social content.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can work independently, interpret creative feedback and deliver high-quality images without compromising natural skin texture or product accuracy. You’ll also bring a creative flair for product and still life photography, with an eye for lighting, styling and composition. Experience with jewelry and other small, reflective products is especially valuable.
What You'll Do
Image retouching & colour
Retouch product, model, still life and campaign imagery for web, social and marketing.
Clean up skin while preserving realistic texture, natural features and consistent skin tones.
Refine jewelry and product images, including metal, gemstones, reflections, edges and fine details, while maintaining accurate colour, finish and shape.
Correct colour casts, exposure and tonal balance; match approved references across image sets.
Refine backgrounds, remove distractions and adjust crops or compositions to suit the brief.
Apply advanced masking, compositing and non-destructive editing techniques where needed.
Quality control & delivery
Review images at both detail and final-output scale for clean edges, natural blending, colour accuracy and consistency.
Translate creative feedback into precise revisions and raise questions when direction is unclear.
Prepare exports to the agreed dimensions, formats, colour profiles and naming conventions.
Organise layered working files, versions and approved assets for clear handover.
Manage multiple briefs and deadlines; flag risks or capacity issues early.
Collaboration & improvement
Work closely with photographers, creative leads and designers to understand the visual direction and deliver consistent results.
Contribute to retouching references, quality checklists and repeatable workflows.
Identify recurring quality issues and recommend practical ways to reduce revision rounds while maintaining standards.
Use approved retouching or AI-assisted tools responsibly, checking that automated edits do not alter product details or create unnatural results.
Who You Are
Substantial professional experience retouching commercial, fashion, beauty or product imagery, with a portfolio demonstrating independent, high-quality work.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including precise masking, layers, colour correction and non-destructive workflows; working knowledge of Lightroom or Capture One.
Strong skin-retouching skills and an eye for natural texture, tone and facial detail.
Experience handling small or reflective products and maintaining material, colour and shape accuracy; jewelry experience is highly valued.
Strong understanding of colour, highlights, shadows, composition and consistency across a series.
Ability to interpret visual references, apply feedback accurately and identify issues before submission.
Strong file management, communication and deadline management.
Based in Singapore.
Nice to have
Experience delivering high-volume e-commerce imagery alongside campaign or editorial assets.
Experience creating retouching guidelines, reviewing image quality or improving production workflows.
Familiarity with AI-assisted retouching tools and their limitations.
