Job Description
We are looking for a creative, passionate marketer to grow The Grounds as a brand and community, and to convert prospects into members. You will own our day-to-day social media presence, drive partnership and community collaborations, support event and partnership activations, and turn events into content that attracts new members.
Drive Partnership and Community Engagement
- Identify and approach brands, organisations and community groups to plan and run monthly events, such as networking sessions and workshops, that build community and generate income for The Grounds.
- Support partnership activations with brands, tenants, corporates and local communities, such as sponsorships, cohosted events, cross-promotions and member perks.
- Prepare proposal decks for prospective partners and clients.
- Manage collaborations and events end to end, including briefing the internal team and coordinating logistics (set-up, tear-down and F&B ordering) in line with company rules, so that events run smoothly.
- Gather feedback from members, partners and clients, and use it to improve events and communications.
- Maintain a partner and client database, including contacts, deliverables, status and results.
- Report monthly event and partnership income and expenses to your manager.
Social Media & Content Marketing
- Execute the monthly content calendar across the website, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn, as directed by your manager.
- Support your manager with campaigns and promotions for The Grounds.
- Create, shoot, edit and publish posts, short-form videos, stories, posters and member features using tools such as Canva, CapCut or similar.
- Capture event and community moments on-site and turn them into post-event content.
- Write and send member and prospect communications, including newsletters, event announcements and promotional broadcasts.
- Run paid social ads to boost engagement and convert leads into memberships and bookings.
- Track content performance, and respond promptly and professionally to comments and DMs to protect The Grounds’ reputation.
- Report paid ad spend and results (leads, tours and conversions) monthly.
Sales Support
- Support your manager with analysis and inputs on the operational and financial performance of The Grounds.
- Review daily reports and work with the team to finalise monthly reports that outline community, marketing and sales progress.
- Take part in developing leasing strategies, marketing plans and overall The Grounds' commercial strategies.
Community Operation and Front Desk Support
- Work with the other Community Associate to cover the front desk which include greeting members, prospective members and their guests, and ensuring visitors are signed in and security is maintained.
- Learn members' and guests' names and build relationships that strengthen our sense of community.
- Answer questions on the building, including way-finding, policies and procedures, and community etiquette.
- Support member check-ins and check-outs, mail and parcel handling, and key and keycard management with the wider team.
- Keep the front desk, mailroom and event spaces clean, organised and presentable.
- Support tours of prospective members when required.
- Assist with other tasks as required by Management.
Experience & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or any related field or experiences.
- 1 to 3 years' experience in events, social media, digital marketing, content creation or partnerships.
- Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio and can-do-attitude are welcome.
- Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace, and comfortable to use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI) responsibly, in line with company policy, to create content and work efficiently.
- Hands-on with Canva, CapCut or similar tools, and able to shoot and edit short-form video.
- Experience running paid social ads and reading basic analytics.
- Confident in approaching and building relationships with brands, organisations and partners at all levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with good customer service skills and empathy for people's needs.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple campaigns and events at the same time.
- Positive, enthusiastic and adaptable in a fast-changing environment, and happy to take ownership of problems and find solutions.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
