Job Responsibilities
Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
Check quantities, quality and condition of deliveries, and report any discrepancies or damages.
Record incoming and outgoing goods accurately in the hotel/inventory system.
Support stock counts, inventory audits and stock level monitoring.
Ensure goods are properly stored, organised and distributed to the relevant departments.
Maintain accurate records of delivery notes, invoices and inventory documentation.
Liaise with suppliers, procurement and internal departments to ensure smooth deliveries.
Ensure receiving and storage areas are clean, safe and organised.
Follow company procedures relating to procurement, inventory control, hygiene and safety.
Requirements
Previous experience in
receiving, storekeeping or inventory control
is preferred.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with
inventory/stock management systems
.
Good English communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and comfortable handling goods and deliveries.
Responsible, positive and reliable attitude.
