At Glints, we are building the #1 tech-enabled recruitment and career discovery platform in Southeast Asia that helps people and organizations realize their human potential.We’re looking for a Finance & Accounting Associate to join our Finance team in Malaysia, to ensure that all the accounting information and practices are accurately reflected by gathering and verifying the accuracy of financial data, checking journal entries, indirect & direct tax submission and reconciling accounts with its relevant cost and revenue.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Process, reconcile, and record invoices, receipts, and bank charges, and set up payment instructions on banking or fintech portals
• Categorize COGS, and expenses to the correct Business Segment and Department, while managing prepayments, deposits, and monthly expense accruals
• Have knowledge about General Ledger entries, prepare supporting journal vouchers and bank reconciliations, and support external audit requests
• Ensure accurate SST capture on invoices and assist in preparing timely direct and indirect tax filings for local authorities
• Proactively suggest process improvements and workflow enhancements to increase team productivity

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 1+ years of experience in AP and general accounting.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, data entry accuracy, and functional knowledge of full-set account closing and VAT submissions.
• Good command of spoken and written English with clear communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of the full set Accounts Closing and able to prepare core financial report
• Knowledge of tax submission and filing of indirect and direct tax
• Good analytical skills, systematic and well-organized with a keen attention to details
• Great communication and interpersonal skills to create a collaborative environment
