Responsibilities

Customer Experience

• Greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them to suitable products with clear, friendly explanations.
• Answer product questions and demonstrate basic device functions to help customers make confident choices.
• Manage customer queues and returns calmly to maintain a positive in-store experience.
• Follow up on customer requests and coordinate with teammates for special orders or repairs.

Store Operations

• Operate the point of sale system accurately for sales, refunds, and promotions, and balance the till at shift end.
• Receive deliveries, check stock against invoices, and update inventory records to keep stock data reliable.
• Maintain store cleanliness and product displays so the shop looks accessible and organised every day.
• Perform routine stock counts and notify management of low inventory or discrepancies.

Sales & Merchandising

• Set up promotional displays and price labels to highlight offers and new items effectively.
• Support upselling and add-on sales by suggesting compatible accessories and warranty options.
• Record daily sales observations and customer feedback to help the team refine product selection.
• Assist in simple visual merchandising tasks to keep the floor attractive for walk-in customers.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years working in retail, customer service, or a related role, preferably in consumer electronics or trading environments.
• Secondary school certificate or equivalent; any retail training or short courses are a plus.
• Available to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays as scheduled.
• Previous experience handling cash and reconciling daily sales is preferred.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Familiarity with point of sale systems and basic inventory tools used in stores.
• Practical knowledge of stock receiving, shelf replenishment, and simple stock counting methods.
• Basic numeracy for cash handling, making change, and simple sales reporting.
• Comfortable using a smartphone and common apps for communication and quick product checks.

• Strong communication and friendly customer service manner, with patience for varied customer needs.
• Reliable time management and the ability to keep the shop organised under busy periods.
