Requirements 

Chemical industry knowledge is important to the role to help selling product to customers.

Qualifications & Experience 

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 

• Sales experience in industrial products or chemicals is an advantage. 

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; training and product knowledge will be provided. 

• Possess own vehicle, a valid driving licence and be willing to travel for customer visits. 

Hard Skills & Knowledge 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to prepare clear quotations and basic sales reports. 

• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills for customer-facing discussions. 

• Familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools is useful but not required. 

• Comfortable learning product technical details from suppliers and our operations team. 

Soft Skills & Qualities 

• Self-motivated, proactive and eager to learn on the job. 

• Able to work independently in the field and collaborate with our team when needed. 

• Customer-focused with attention to delivery reliability and product detail. 

• Professional presentation and dependable field representation during client visits.

Territory & Business Development 

• Own and grow an assigned territory by building a pipeline of manufacturers and service providers in water treatment, coatings, and manufacturing sectors. 

• Convert enquiries into repeat orders through timely follow-ups and commercially sound proposals. 

• Prioritise leads, identify upsell opportunities and focus efforts to meet quarterly sales targets. 

• Share territory performance and market feedback with the Sales Director to inform planning. 

Sales Operations & Quoting 

• Translate customer requirements into accurate quotations in coordination with operations and suppliers. 

• Manage the order lifecycle from quotation to delivery, ensuring schedules and documentation are correct. 

• Keep sales records and simple reports that support forecasting and decision making. 

• Support by logistics and operations to resolve delivery or quality issues quickly and professionally. 

Customer Relationships & Fieldwork 

• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations and discussions to recommend fit-for-purpose solutions. 

• Provide reliable product advice and after-sales support to build long-term customer trust. 

• Represent our team professionally at client meetings and supplier sessions. 

• Attend industry sites and opportunity to local/overseas events to broaden your network and increase our company presence.
