Role Overview

Provide technical applications and process support for semiconductor equipment, helping customers assess product capabilities, optimise performance, and resolve equipment and process issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support through product presentations, demonstrations, installation, and maintenance activities.
• Work with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop suitable applications and technical specifications.
• Evaluate and validate product capabilities, ensuring solutions meet customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and provide proactive and reactive customer support.
• Perform technical analysis and calculations to support application development and problem resolution.
• Share application knowledge and technical guidance with customers and internal teams.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as an Applications or Process Engineer in the semiconductor industry.
• Approximately 3–4 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on ion implantation experience is strongly preferred.
• Candidates with other front-end semiconductor equipment experience may also be considered, including:
• Thin-film deposition: PVD, CVD, or ALD
• Etch, CMP, or wet processing
• Inspection or metrology
• Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and customer support skills.
